Yes I am still on my palette binge. I have been checking out palettes all over and having fun doing it. Heck it’s like fingerpainting for adults. I recently had a chance to talk to Mally Roncal, make-up artist to so many stars that it’s insanity: Angelina Jolie, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and  tons more. You have seen her handiwork on the covers of ‘Sephora  catalogs in the last year.

Busy girl that she is, after being asked enough times how to duplicate the "Mally look" , she decided to launch her own cosmetic line. (see! There is a cosmetic goddess!) Now you can do make-up Mally’s way. The line is simple to use and when you see palettes, the products are set up so that the first product is on the left and you move from left to right! EASY!!

Her most popular product lately–or rather the one she gets asked a ton of questions about – is the   Believeable Bronzer Compact. Her are some tips from a recent phone chat I had with Mally (and trust me, you should have heard that one! Wild!!  We were on the phone for over 60 minutes..

Tip #1

" I wasn’t a huge fan of traditional bronzer because they always had some shimmer baked into the cake. It seemed strange to see all the sparkles and it didn’t look real." Mally stated," Start with the warm powder to warm skin and give it the  right color without the restrictions of shimmer that screams bronzer."

Tip #2
"Put a little shimmer but use it  only where you need it on brow bone, cheekbones, bridge of nose"
Use a smaller brush to control the shimmer application and blend a bit.

Tip #3
"Apply the pink to get that pink glow that is more of a burn or highlight. When you are outside you get that burn that always gives you pink cheeks. This pink looks scary in the pan but it’s really sheer and it gives you just the right shade of pink glow!"
Use that same small blush brush and apply this to the apple of your cheeks. Blend a bit toward the temple and you can dust a large powder brush over everything to blend it all well.

Tip #4
"The concept behind Mally Beauty is that it’s a no brainer. It’s left to right. You start with your brushes from left to right. You can’t make a mistake. You can do it even when you are half asleep."

Now I knew exactly how to do the application and you do too! It goes on so easily and it looks incredibly natural too.

Another great product from Mally Beauty that we talked about was the  Get the Last Lash EyeLash Curler. This cool lash curler is really different.  It actually allows you to adjust the amount of curl you want from the entire eye or just the outer lashes. It makes it easier to "walk" the curler out from the roots to the tips and you won’t pinch your eye because you rest the lash curler on your cheek. There’s now pinching! It gives you the most gorgeous curvy curly lashes–no 90 degree bends here.

Now that you know what to buy, you can rush right over to  QVC and buy it –but wait!! You might want to know about the new products that Mally’s launching on QVC.  Yes I know you are jonesing to know when.

July 28, Thursday.  Mally is on QVC three times for one hour each time doing demos.
6 AM,  12 noon and 9 PM EDT (which means 3 hours earlier on the East Coast. You West Coast beauty junkies better get up EARLY to see Mally’s new stuff) Tivo it if you must.  Head to a tv and bring your cell to catch what Mally’s debuting because it’s going to be  hot!! It will sell out FAST!!
