Hey It’s Stevie from Fashiontribes.com Happy Tuesday. Sorry I am late–actually I am not late. I had everything done earlier and was working out the truckload of text and product shots when poof!! It vanished. EEEEEK> So I started over and hence the lateness. Not to worry though. I will cover in the coming days, those same products– lip glosses, body products, fragrance, shimmering powders, highlighters, shadows and more.. Everything you need to look glam not just for the holidays but year round! So please check back OFTEN!

Clinique Repairwear: Deep Wrinkle Concentrate for Face and Eyes is a super product. fighing wrinkles at the bottom level of skin where cells are the weakest, it helps direct healthy cells to the base (or bottom layer) of the wrinkle and kick that collagen production into gear. It also works at the top or outer layer of the skin to reduce the length and depth of the wrinkle when used regularly!

From another Estee Lauder company, Prescriptives  Intensive Rebuilding Moisturizer acts similarly to the Clinique yet also quite differently too. Working from the inside out, the Intensive Rebuildng Moisturizer  works with a Hydrabuild complex  which  stimulates natural Glycosaminoglycans production to  maximize  the function of  hyaluronic acid and water in the skin. Hyaluronic  acid helps skin retain water and moisture  which helps maximize firmness. hexapeptides boost collagen  production, thus improving the healing  mechanisms which results in  firmer, lifted, more toned skin. Hylafill complex focuses  on the outer layer– infusing moisture to help smooth llines and  wrinkles and thus restore that more youthful look.   There’s a moisturizer for face and one for eyes. YOU NEED BOTH!! http://www.nordstrom.com

Also from Clinique are lush and lovely lip colors called Color Surge Buttershine lip colors– great  lip colors that are supremely moisturizing, glossy and full of color that makes gloss almost superfluous.  Check out DeLovely and also Cranberry Cream for the best of the neutrals and berry tones for holiday. Make sure you  get at least a couple colors– these babies sell out fast! www.gloss.com

Check Clinique counters for the Shimmering Tones Powder which features a checkerboard of shimmering cool rose and bronze tones for the face. Use the lightest tone in the mirrored compact to highlight cheekbones or brow bones; use the darkest tone to help contour the cheekbones and swirl all the colors together to give you that not too rosy glow that will illuminate your face this holiday season.

Shimmer rules for Holiday 2005. It can be presented in a number of ways: shimmer, sheen, shine, gleam, glisten, twinkle, sparkle as well as glitter and glow.  Prescriptives Colorscope  Shadows are definitely something you should check out. If you know Prescriptives (or PX as we cosmetic junkies call it), you are color-printed to help you select the right colors and tones for your skin so that when you  pick out shadows, pencils, blushes and lip colors, they are colors that make you  look fabulous–not frivilous— and colors that you will use till they  are gone!! ( has that ever happened to you? It has to me once I was colorprinted!) Anyway, the great colors that Prescriptives has in the Colorscope Collection come in matte, shimmer and hi-shimmer colors. My faves and recommendations are all shimmer– and the hi-shimmer is almost a metallic. Try out these  R/O: Fire- a soft coppery color;
R: Bordeau– a gorgeous shimmer wine; Y/O: Bronze 07-a fab bronze that will bring out the golden tawny tones in your eyes
  and  B/R: Indigo–a beautiful shimmer midnight blue  to create the perfect smokey eye. www.saks.com

Lip glosses from Prescriptives should not be ignored if you love that twinkle and sparkle on your lips
with lush and lovely color. The Moonbeam Extreme glosses are fabulous. They aren’t sticky and they offer lovely buildable color  with gorgeous shine in several shades including  Super Sonic (a universal brighter rose), Plasmic Plum (slightly browned tone plum) and Terrestial Taupe (a cool bronze). The pigments increase the shine while hydrating wild mango butter and Vitamins E and C help protect and soothe. www.gloss.com
