Coming from Cirque du Soleil in collaboration with Itsus and designer Desiree Sangollo, this new line is called Cirque du Soleil and it’s a line that is based on the costumes and different theatrical productions from the Cirque du Soleil  organization. As each different production of Cirque du Soleil has captured the hearts, minds and imaginations of crowds the world over, Sangello has transformed the themes and feelings into tangible objects- clothing that is wearable year-round for the woman who doesn’t want to look like every other woman. Aimed at the woman who knows her style and wears what she wants to wear regardless of trend because she knows she is comfortable in her own skin to pull off any look as long as she is comfortable in that milieu.  Think of it as fashion confidence –that for the Cirque du Soleil woman, she wears these styles with an edge, an attitude and a confidence that’s  completely innate and a reflection of her personality.

The Cirque du Soleil Collection is distinctly a reflection of the Desiree Sangollo’s interpretation of all the different Cirque productions. Given unprecendented access to of  Alegria, KA, Mystere, O, Corteo and Varekai provided her with a global inspiration for her fashion canvas.  Sangollo was granted exclusive access to the Cirque du Soleil brand, their costume vaults, behind the scenes at the shows and even toured with the performers to come up with this distinctive collection.

Based on the Asian and Eastern European cultural themes, the clothing is designed and created with the finest hand selected fabrics from around the globe and feature Renaissance  motifs and Baroque embellishments. Unique colorful and extremely distinctive prints were also created to capture the exquisite essence of the Cirque du Soleil lifestyle.

Sangollo is more than just a fashion designer. She is a  woman whose expertise and passion inspired the Cirque du Soleil Collection and transforms the  Cirque du Soleil  lifestyle into a lifestyle fashion brand courtesy of her intuitive, innate ability  as both an artist and designer.

As part of her research, Desiree Sangollo  examined the detail and design elements for all the Cirque productions and traveled and talked to the performers to be able to best capture the essence of the lifestyle.

"The  attention to detail and design elements utilized by Cirque du Soleil in its productions is what really fascinated me  and allowed me to follow my own vision for the brand,” states Ms. Sangollo.  Desiree Sangollo’s travels took  her from India to Turkey to  Paris and  Hong Kong. At each destination, she’s drew inspiration  from the architecture or the  art of the region, as well as selecting fabrics and embellishments.
