Devil in a Blue Dress: French Connection's Bella Dress Will Have Standing Out in a Sea of LBD's!

Holiday tends to be the time for lots of parties. Given that black is the new black– where does one go for color?
I don’t see a lot of brights — other than red or white.
Spying this French Connection Dress from the New York Magazine’s Best Bets “newsflashes” gave me a nice whiplash because it’s not black or red but a great cobalt blue and — the best part– it’s not baby doll dressing.

This dress spells *WOMAN* in all caps with the nice figure enhancing cut of a sleeveless sheath dress with black details that gives shape where you want and hides figure flaws. There is a bit of a shoulder baring drape on the back for a low-key sex bomb look. You don’t hit them over the head– you just give them the right hints.
This is a dress that’s killer and the price tag won’t send your plastic card into nucleur mode a la Lanvin and Dior dresses in similar shades.
