Red Carpet Reviews: Celebrity Fashion Ratings of SAG Awards by UK Stylist Michaela Jedinak Part #5

Debra Messing

Colour: Fabulous! The colour with the embroidery works very well for her colouring because it doesn’t all cover her top half
Shape: World Class choice for small chested women. It brings the embroidery full in focus and creates a beautiful neck and décolleté line.
Style: Very in the moment and current choice, which is pulled altogether with this loose and full hair style, which gives even more substance to her top half.
Overall Rating:***** Five Stars
Diana Lane

Colour: Beautiful choice for her colouring and for the event. The colour is great for the daylight but the depth of it reflects as well the class and importance of the event.
Shape: Though the bigger straps of her dress give full view to her décolleté ,and also balances nicely with its lower billowing skirt, but I am afraid to say the décolleté is far too low and her bossom are not having enough support. They are too close to her waistline.
Style: The dress is very contemporary and her hairstyle looks good with it, but the handbag just looks mumsy with it and with that sort of neckline it just all looks very shapeless ageing.
Overall rating:*** Three Stars

Josh Brolin

Colour: Ok
Shape: The tie looks a bit too petite on him. He could have gone for a bigger one, so it wouldn’t look so lost on him. The suit seems not to be right for him firstly the bottom sits at his fullest point and makes him look bigger around his waist and secondly the legs of his trousers are creasing while standing- which should never happen when you are standing straight.
Style: His shoes are looking with this suit very dowdy and in combination with this badly tailored suit for him, he just doesn’t look sharp, dynamic and fresh- which should be the image for actor going to such an event
Overall Rating:** Two Stars

Ellen Page

Colour: Black with this dropped neckline is ok, but hello- this is a young actress and all the new seasonal clothes with the bright colours and prints are in fashion- so why is she not dressing her age?
Shape: I am really so for her to have been put in such a ill fitting shape for her. The double lining around the waist doesn’t give her proportional waist and her chest are not filling the décolleté.
Style: Her hair can be considered only as messy and she looks as if she is copying granny ‘s Sunday look with these shoes and clutch bag.
