Not that I recommend running in stilettos or heels — unless you are in dire need– Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa of Live with Regis & Kelly in honor of the Olympics recently sponsored a fund-raiser in the form of a running contest for women in high heels! Yup!! You get to run in heels and the winner gets $25, 000 dollars!!! The charity is guaranteed at least $50,000 in donations– not bad for a quick jog around Central Park now is it?
This first ever event took place on July 9 (where was I? I hadn’t heard about this!!) and it was sponsored by Dr. Scholl’s and it benefited the March of Dimes
