Mike Vitale might not be a household name, but soon enough the indie/alt *mainstream* will be humming just as his guitar does when he’s playing.
Who is Mike Vitale? Singer, songwriter (and I am happy to say, friend) who is emerging and hitting the road touring across the western US and soon to be on the east coast as well.

The Only One That I Need by Mike Vitale
How anyone can sing this fast, play guitar at the same time and NOT trip over the words is amazing. I love the song and it’s one of my favorites from Mike’s CD.
On My Knees by Mike Vitale
This song slays me because of the cello and the great guitar-work and Mike’s plaintive vocals that show off an emotional depth few reveal.
Vitale is currently working on a new CD and hopefully– if you check his website http://www.mikevitalemusic.com , you can hear him live–because he’s awesome!

Quite by accident I tripped over Mike Vitale’s MySpace page and discovered his awesome, unique brand of music. I’ve heard a lot of styles but always get excited over a fresh sound that moves me. This is what Mike Vitale’s music does. Each song he does showcases a slightly different flair from the last one you hear him perform. This range and ability to be versatile is part of what sets him apart. However, I believe the pinnacle of his style is the way he interjects true emotion through the catchy lyrics. I’m proud to be one of his fans and I eagerly await the whole world learning about this very talented young man.
So, I think there is probably something pretty tacky about me leaving a comment on an article about myself… but then again, I’m as tacky as they come. Wow, whoever the person was who left the comment next to this one, thank you! That’s very kind of you.
