little black dressis a charitable fundraiser courtesy of its fashion icon LBD wearers meet emerging designers in an exhibition where new versions of the eponymous LBD are displayed. Let’s talk celebrities, fashionistas and everyone else in between. Definitely a style worth event, the tour this year has become an edited mix of luxe clothing, streetwear, accessories and home furnishings that will be sold to benefit select charitable organizations. In a new twist on the original one night event little black dress will expand to a four-week pop-up boutique to tour three cities. A closely edited mix of luxury clothing, streetwear, accessories, and home decor will be sold to benefit the selected charities.

Timing the latest round of events with their newest women’s collection, Quiksilver (yes *that Quiksilver*) is hitting LA again for Quiksilver LA. This sports brand partnered with six female creatives to take up temporary “residence” in a Quiksilver-branded multi-purpose spac which has communal work stations and exhibition/event space in the Silverlake area.
For the next year, , Quicksilver is sponsoring each residents’ respective work/artistry by providing necessary resources and tools related to their expertise and giviing them awesome exposure to the public and the media. The residents which include a fashion blogger, singer/songwriter, architect-in-training and a bicycle safety activist, are working on solo projects in this artistic community. There will also be a variety of event,s performances, educational workshops for the public as well. Quiksilver is aiming to sponsor creatives as well as sports figures in their branding.
Nike Sportswear@ The Montalbán
Nike has popped up at the historic Montalbán Theater in Hollywood, CA, . This new location provides a limited time retail experience for consumers in the market for selected, limited edition Nike SW apparel and footwear;. Check out the NIKEiD studio upstairs in the balcony for customized shoes!
The Montalban Theater is home to Cinema Tuesdays– where studio pre-releases, NIke commisioned short films, documentaries, film festivals and more will be curated by FLUX
Stay tuned to this locale because some of the recent events were the *hot ticket* of the week and definitely is *must see* LA!!
Nike is also partnerin with local artists and public school art programs to provide workshops and a design series for children. This is a limited time series through the end of October, so scurry on over to pop-in at the pop-up for a true Nike experience.
