It’s mid-way through the holidays and maybe you want to “mix” it up a bit with some new cocktails- either as something new to drink or test-driving your mixology skills for the New Year’s Eve bash or New Year’s Day Recovery. Either way, LA-Story.com has you covered!
Some of the most interesting drinks have the more interesting and unusual ingredients.
Charlotte Voisey is a talented, entertaining mixologist from London, now residing in New York who travels the US educating on spirits, mixology and bar operations.
Charlotte’s career began training in London and wound up managing cocktail bars in Barcelona, Buenos Aires and returned to London at a time of cocktail resurgance. While Charlotte has won numerous awards and opened amazing cocktail lounges, her career has expanded to creating unique drinks for the brand, Hendricks Gin.
Charlotte’s passion for all things spirits and cocktails keeps her in an active role at all major industry events across the country including the Las Vegas Nightclub and Bar Show, Sante Symposium, Spirits of Mexico, Aspen Food And Wine Classic, New York Bar Show, Cheers Beverage Conference, and Tales of the Cocktail where Charlotte was honoured by her audience with the Golden Spirit Award for Best Presenter in 2007. Charlotte’s unique cocktails can be found on menus across the world, recent consulting projects include the Dorchester Hotel, London, the Gramercy Park Hotel, Manhattan, The HideOut, Brooklyn and the Fairmont Hotel in Santa Monica.
Charlotte provided me with a great spin on something that sounds so uniquely British (or Harry Potter-ish) that I had to feature it.
