Beyonce

Color
The colour of the dress is ok; it’s not entirely wrong but she can do so much better. Beyonce is another drop dead goregeous woman and this colour in this dress doesn’t do her beauty and her super-star status justice. It looks very dated. I am sure her stylist tried a classic look, but this doesn’t work for her. There are many green shades that are in fashion and the use of any one of them would have been a great colour for her. She would have been a style leader in the New Year with a new fashion season ahead.
Bodyshape
Beyonce is a pear shape in her body shape. Her dress is better fitted but still not right. Her female curves on top are nicely highlighted in this dress, but tightens at her waist in an unflattering way creating rolls in her waistline and tummy area.
This is a very common problem of pears since they have a very defined waist -especially where the waist finishes and the hips are starting. In this area women with this shape need to wear enough stretch or elastic in their outfits so they fit well at the waist but provide enough room to move. Her leg split is a good feature to break up tight fit around her thighs,
Style
Her chunky necklace is a great choice to add volume to her top, but a contrasting colour would have been a little bit more hip, youthful and current and also added more volume to her top to balance her hips.
It is a shame to see young, successful, beautiful artists not being dressed up to their stardom- it is such a mismatch here.

Jennifer Lopez

Color
Gold is certainly her colour and looks sleek on her beautiful skin. I would say gold is a bit passé in January: Christmas is over and the metallic look has been seen and tried by various celebrities. The new season has begun, so show us something different.
Bodyshape
Jennifer is a typical pear with smaller shoulders, blessed with a great waist and with wider hips. Therefore the mantra is broaden your shoulders to balance your hips and emphasize your hip by keeping clutter and bulk out of the way.
I would say the dress works until her bust l and then it goes literally pear shaped. She is hiding her waist under this scarf-like top. The bulk comes altogether at her fullest point and not only broadens her hips but adds unnecessary pounds on them. She should try to avoid any body-hugging outfits around the hips since that’s her weakest point and yet she does exactly the opposite.
Style
The clutch bag is too small, too muted and boring. A pink chunky floral clutch bag would have jazzed this out fit big time. Clutch bags are a great friend of pears since they widen your shoulders when carrying them under your arm.
Her hair her style has been seen and done many times in the last couple of years. A pity she didn’t choose something more original. I would love to dress and style her. She is a beauty that doesn’t come around too many times. If any one reads this who knows her, then take a chance on me! I can do better on styling her for the red carpet!
