Emma Watson

COLOR:
The colours black and white look great on her. The white lifts the black as well as the lower neckline that exposes her skin.
BODYSHAPE:
Her embroidered neckline works beautifully on her long décolleté and brings out the pattern at it best. Her cleavage is beautifully highlighted with the embroidery and adds curves and shape to her bust line. The Empire line provides her with soft female curves in her bustline, waist and hip area. Her loose fitted skirt balances nicely with her top without loosing sight of her softly highlighted waist.
STYLE:
All in all a beautiful fresh, pretty and classy look for a young accomplished actress- quite perfect ” for an English rose”.
Overall Rating: 5***** Five Star

Penelope Cruz

COLOR:
Black seems to have been the favourite choice for the Baftas and Penelope did well in choosing this colour for the awards because it is one of the best colours in her colour palette.
BODYSHAPE:
The shape of the dress and her look is breathtakingly perfect for her neat hourglass bodyshape and for the season and for this London event. The black dress has a clean and clutter-free shape and highlights her female curves. The cross-over in her décolleté line works because of her long décolleté line and pulled-back hair style allows the style to breathe and come to life. It gives structure to her shoulder that nicely balances with her mermaid-skirt shape.
While her bust seems bit large to be covered up like this and stands out slightly too muc, when one looks closer it all works. The dress fits like a glove on her but also her train in the back is long enough to balance the bust. The result is that both her waist and her mermaid leg line are being highlighted. This hemline– a key point– starts at the right length so that her height looks proportional.
STYLE:
Her hairstyle is what it all pulls the dress and look together. It provides more height, but also sums up the whole look by giving her volume on top that not only balances with her train, but picks up as well on all her female curves like bust and hips. Her fringe makes the look current and of the moment since it evokes memories of ” Audrey Hepburn” in “Breakfast at Tiffany” Her whole look is all about female curves, structure and proportion that underscores her personality.
It looks sexy, elegant, sophisticated: a look that won’t fade. Her make up and jewelry choice are as well top notch since they are giving a bit of sparkle to the dress without distracting from it. I would say she was Queen of the Ball!

Overall rating:
5***** Five Stars

  1. I read on TMZ that Emma Watson uses Coonobabe makeup. Does anyone know what specific lipsticks/glosses Emma buys from them? Thanks…;)
