Angelina Jolie

COLOR:
Another black number combined with a very in colour for next season: Yelllow. Black is a good colour choice for Angelina and also keeping the yellow as an accent colour and away from her face.
BODYSHAPE:
Her dress in style, shape and length are the hottest attributes for dresses in the current season. It flatters a neat hourglass because it follows its female curves, and because they can get away with features that highlight these curves.
Her décolleté is highlighted in this style and colour and works on her beautifully because she has the perfect bustline: not too much and not too little. She has a ong neckline and lengthy decollete. The décolleté feature has enough room to stand out and to shine particularly since her hair is away from the side of that feature.
The yellow accent colour on top and bottom lead towards her long waist and provides the silhouette of a neat hourglass that is worn elegantly yet in a relaxed style. The yellow accent colour that goes across her leg line doesn’t create any bulk since she has a lean figure, is tall, and has small calves.

STYLE:

The skirt length is a great choice for this event since it makes it still an event gown, but also it gives it a modern feel and touch. The yellow colour in the dress give it is an edge and attitude which works with Angelina’s personality very well and makes is as well a perfect choice for the London wards.
Angelina’s hairstyle is casually pulled back which takes the edge a few nudges down from the dress, yet makes her look look effortless. She truly owns it and puts her own signature to the dress. (A typical example for someone who makes the dress her own rather the other way around. )
The only critique I have here which seems to be a style spoiler is her choice of shoes. They don’t go with her dress style. They are look boring, flat and bring her outfit down.

Freida Pinto

Dev Patel and Freida Pinto.
COLOR:
Pastel pink is not the best colour for her colouring. She is better in stronger, richer, deeper colours and it would have complemented her much better. Considering that she is quite young and her skin is young, fresh and flawless, it is not ( yet) much of an issue. Youth gets away with many looks that are not best suited for them.
BODYSHAPE:
The shape of the dress follows her neat hourglass in a fitted style that makes her outward appearance combined with her loose hair look relaxed and comfortable in her skin.
The ruffles flatter her bust and avoids her decollete line from going too far south. Her outward flared skirt and hemline works well on her petite scale by keeping it fairly simple in style, volume, shape and in monotone.
STYLE:
Her look is sweet, pretty, lovely, but considering that her choice in colour for the dress is not the best it doesn’t make her stand out or underscore her personality. It’s also a bit too “pretty princess” for the Baftas.
