Musician Guy Forsyth Continues the Conversation about Evolution of Music & "Life on the Road"

This is part 2 of a conversation with Guy Forsyth about the evolution of music and how the industrial revolution of the US changed the direction of music– and how much it has impacted life in the US. The framework of meeting the deadlines, time clock and other ways that time regulates our lives is part of this conversation and also part of his music — both positive and negative in terms of impact.

Calico Girl CD ( buy this!! KILLER songs– very engaging)
It’s very interesting to hear Guy talk about how he gets into writing music– via the frustrations of life as well as the other issues that a person/country/group might be currently dealing with.

A conversation with Guy Forsyth part 2
Even more interesting is how he deals with creating a healthy lifestyle and how he wants to live his life to make the music that percolates inside him. While he works nights and comes in contact with various musicians and as well as locations that don’t exactly encourage the healthiest state of body or mind, he’s aware of the import ot staying healthy and focusing on the crucial elements of his life and music.

Stay tuned for part 3– which is a longer and more in-depth segement of this interview.
What’s interesting and why this is a 3 part conversation with this amazingly gifted musician is that he’s so aware of life, history and so many topics that we had a very long conversation that went on and on (and on and on) for quite a while. Guy is very open when he’s talking about his music and the evolution of it and his career.

Also — again– my apologies that this interview was a bit late in hitting the web– but computers are *touchy* about how they operate and not all tech guys are the equal in ability to solve problems.
Thank you to Guy Forsyth for the really interesting and intense conversation. I was digging every minute of it in this landmark LA hotel and it was just fun to hear and learn so much from him.
Stay tuned for part 3 which is the “long one”
