You might have heard or read the words “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country”. Stirring words from the late President John F. Kennedy to get Americans up out of their chairs, their houses and helping others in need.
Now President Obama is asking you to do the same. This is not about your political affiliation, race, creed, or education. This is about your country, my country — OUR country.
Please join the many celebrities (and there will be more than just this one post) in volunteering to help the country, the homeless, those who are disabled, environmental causes. It’s one planet– and we can’t let it go to waste. While we are many nations, we are “one” people– regardless of religion, color or background.
Let’s start doing something to help those in need–whether in your city, state, country or the world. You make a difference. We all can change the world– if we put our minds to it..
