Secrets of the Red Carpet: Smooth, Silky, Frizz-Free Hair from The Loft Hair Lounge!

A slew of treatments to make reduce frizz and increase shine, smoothness and manageability have emerged over the last few years. Originally called the Brazilian Treatment, there were a few flaws (if one wants to call formaldehyde a flaw) in the treatment that while it worked, it caused some health issues.
Several new treatments have come out that reduced or dealt with this issue in a variety of ways. One of the newest treatments on the hair scene that’s caught many a celebrity eye (and head of hair) is the KERA SMOOTH created by Clay Patane, who was the first stylist to introduce Japanese Bio Ionic straightening method here in LA and is now the first to offer Kera Smooth treatments.

What does Kera Smooth do?
Kera Smooth is one of the newest methods available to eliminate curls from the hair and considered revolutionary because–unlike the Brazilian straightening metho– Kera-Smooth does not contain formaldehyde

“The goal of this new formula is not to make the hair stick-straight, but rather to smooth the hair, eliminate frizz, while at the same time, maintaining plenty of shine and volume,” states Patane. “Since curls begin to return after about two months, it’s perfect for those who want to try out straight, smooth hair for a new look without committing to permanently straightening their hair. My clients love it because, unlike other straightening methods, Kera-Smooth maintains volume to the hair.”

Says Patane, “I’m thrilled this new formaldehyde-free formula is now available so women can feel safe in straightening their hair. My clients also love Kera-Smooth because it only takes one hour and at a cost of about $200.00, it’s a fraction of the price of other methods.”

The new formula boasts keratin protein and strengthening white henna as the magical ingredients to smooth hair, eliminate frizzies and add tons of shine. It works on all hair types, particularly those with thick, fine, frizzy, color-treated or previously chemically straightened hair. Kera Smooth will smooth, silken and rehab any damaged hair back to amazing health

What is the process of Kera Smooth?
|

The process is as simple as four steps as apposed to the older generation straighteners.
1- Clarifying shampoo.
2- Application of the product. The epart that makes the difference is the keratin protein and white henna with a mild chemical similar to a mild perm solution.
3- After 10-30 min the product is shampooed with a special moisturizing shampoo and ultra moisturizing conditioner.
4- The final step is to blow dry and style the hair. The hair can be styled straight, with a little bend and maintaining volume too. The crucial part is this final step when the protein, moisture and hennas are fused into the hair follicle, locking in the shine and conditioning qualities. The whole process can take less than one hour making it our most popular service.
