Given that Earth Day is coming and here in LA, the eco-friendly, going green movement is picking up steam and there is no better place to start than in your closet!!
Here’s Barbra Horowitz on video talking about what can be done to recycle, rework, reuse or repurpose clothing and accessories in our closet. Even donating them makes a difference!

I think Barbra did a bang-up job on showing how to use consignment stores, the tees and other ideas she has. Also that’s where vintage comes into play — even down to going to St. Vincent De Paul, Goodwill, Salvation Army, and other thrift stores like American Cancer Society . Have a clothing swap party– there’s a new store in Playa Del Rey called
Give + Take Boutique and you need to check out the IMAGE Section article from the LA Times to get the scoop on recycling clothing and this store.
