Saving Grace Final Season Hits DVD with a Emotional Conclusion to this Series!

I am/was a huge fan of Saving Grace starring Holly Hunter and truly stellar cast. Hunter plays detective Grace Hanadarko who works, plays and loves hard. It takes its’ toll on her and her relationships which include affairs with almost every man in the squad she works with.

Open-minded and big-hearted, Grace is a wild child that’s been given a guardian angel, Earl to help her find God– not that she’s looking but obviously God has a reason to send Earl to be there watching over Grace.

For 3 seasons, we watched Grace interact with friends, family, dogs, criminals, co-workers and accomplish sometimes what seemed like miracles as well as numerous situations where one would be sure she was over her head– whether it was alcohol, sex or just doing her job. It’s been a real roller-coaster series and Hunter infused Grace with humanity and an amazing backstory. Grace seemed to exist apart from Hunter so believeable was the acting.

Earl, Grace’s Angel

Earl was the angel we might all wish we had (I do!) to help guide us and let us make our own decisions and the series had a way of presenting God in a unique light that was not Christian but beyond the scope of religion.

Now the series has been cancelled but the series has been wrapped up in this DVD set and it’s really illuminating to see it and how it ended.

All of your burning questions are finally answered in the electrifying final season of the emotionally gripping and darkly humorous Saving Grace. Academy Award winner and Emmy nominee Holly Hunter returns as Grace Hanadarko, the hard-living detective with an angel on her shoulder.
