I like writing my blogs–otherwise why would I do it? I also like getting comments. I got a comment on Black Friday that I thought was kind of funny– but then I realized it was from “Ellen DeGeneres“.. but then I realized it wasn’t Ellen at all but a spam commment. I checked the other 9 comments left to be moderated and each had a celebrity name tied to it. Each was from a different email address, but the IP addresses were identical and so were the URLS that they tied to each post.
Sometimes I wonder why I ask for comments but this really was a prize– because it was spot-on dead and each one of the comments had to be deleted.
At least they could have tried making sure the spelling and relevance to the post was there but I guess someone was just too lazy. Thanks to Jennifer Grey, Ellen DeGeneres, Sandra Bullock, Hillary Duff, Steve Harvey, Michael J. Fox, Claire Danes and everyone else for your comments (despite your poor grammar and misspelllings) to tell me about your divorce website. That’s the most I am going to give you in terms of visibility of the site you were spamming.

I agree completely with what you’re saying. My only problem is that after I do attempt to make a change, it really works, however I all the time revert back to my same ways. Sticking to them is what I discover difficult.

Thanks to all the “celebrities” who posted here. I can’t believe that they all really do read my blog and given they all have the same IP address, maybe they are all using the same corporate/movie/tv studio computers– but that’s highly unlikely. Also I would suggest that those assistants (cough cough) who are writing these posts for these “celebrities” really should brush up on their spelling and their grammar as well as make sure that the comment relates to the post because right now no one cares about what Tony Parker and Eva Longoria are wearing– it’s how much she’s going to subtract out of his bank account.
Turkey’s gone, spam is now gone. Black Friday Spam — definitely not on this menu.
