12 Drinks of Christmas #5: Pumpkin Cocktail Brings a New Taste for Holidays Drinks
This is day #5 for the 12 Drinks of Christmas and this cocktail happens to be courtesy of a restaurant in my city, Alegria! This is a Spanish restaurant that has flamenco dancing and their food is quite interesting. Here is one of their more popular drinks: the Pumpkin Cocktail
Krome Vodka: 2 ounces
* Liquore 43: 1 ounce
* Pumpkin Spice: 1.5 ounce ( meaning this could be pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, clove or a blend which is essentially what pumpkin pie spice is)_
* Touch of Cream — add a little in and sip through a straw after mixing it to see if you need to add more.
* Touch of Lime ( if you can find key limes, key lime juice or Volcano Lime Juice)
Add a sprinkle of nutmeg across the top.
* Pie crust rim:
Before pouring drink in glass, wet rim with lime juice or simple sugar and roll around in crumbled graham crackers
Krome Vodka is a premium vodka but you can use any vodka of your choice. I suggest a spiced vodka or something with a super clean taste.
Liquore 43 can be substituted for a similar cordial such as Frangelico or Kahlua.
If you want to give this drink a real twist, try a vodka with an nutty infusion or try a really good reposado tequila.

A great seasonal drink that will spark some lively conversation.
