While denim is still hot in the fashion arena, there is a division of where the trends are going. Talk to stylist Barbra Horowitz and she says boot cuts and flares are coming back because they are the most figure-friendly styling out there.
However, according to Tim Gunn, fashion arbiter of this millenium, jeggiings are the hot style of the moment for women– and even for men!! He was on Conan O’Brien the other night and here is the clip of his commentary and what Conan decided to do.
I like jeggings. I even have a couple of pairs– not that I would bet my wardrobe on them. I have been wearing bootcuts lately and liking the look again. Hearing — and seeing– Tim Gunns comments and expressions is priceless. It was provocative enough to get Conan to show up the very next night. Have to say, he does have the long legs, the body to wear it. BUT- why the acid wash?? That’s hideous Conan. A dark wash or distressed finish would have been so much better with jeggings than a bleached out pair of jeans meets tights. But you had the guts to do it!
