Pre-Order Tickets for Kin’s Dominion Concert & You Could Get into Special Private Party with The Kin!

If you were “tuned in” to this blog last week, you saw a post about The KIN and heard the podcast/interview with Thorald & Isaac Koren . In case you didn’t read it or listen to the podcast, you can now because it’s hyperlinnked twice in the sentence above. If you have read/heard it, then keep on going because if you are based in the NYC area, you might want to pony up the bucks to buy tickets to The Kin’s concert at the Dominion– in hopes of an invite to a private invite-only party for 50 lucky pre-sale ticket buyers!

The KIN are throwing a very special viewing party of the DVD at the THOMPSON LES Hotel on Tuesday 26th April for pre-sale ticket holders only.
It will be free entry and a champagne toast. Please rsvp to info@thekin.com – noting that

only the first 50 people to rsvp

will be invited!! The room is small and so we are asking our friends to spend a few minutes and buy their tickets online. Here is the ticket link: http://everfinepresents.inticketing.com/events/142324

The Brothers with Shakerleg

The trio has been touring the world with their co-led vocals soaring into the night, wrenching melodic guitars, resonant keyboards and Shakerleg’s explosive hand-drumming. The live show has been crafted over hundreds of tour dates across the US, Canada, Australia, U.K. and France. Now recorded, mastered and about to “drop” the Live at Rockwood Music Hall EP/DVD and their next studio LP, The Kin are incredibly excited to share the RONDO SESSIONs which will launch sometime 2011– a selection of the 40 plus songs that they had recorded with the ersatz “Rondo Brothers”. The Kin – “Two of a Kind” (backstagestory)

For those who are interested in attending the Dominion event listed below, there is an incentive for doing advance purchase! They are really excited that about being able to capture this magical night with friends on tape and film. With the help of producer/engineer Thom Panunzio (Bruce Springsteen, Patti Smitth, Tom Petty) and french born local cinematographer, Christian Huguenot, The Kin have put together something we are excited to share with you.

To celebrate the release of the live album, and being able to be home in New York as Spring sets in, The Kin are throwing a musical bash for all to enjoy!! Joining The Kin at the Dominion will be
Bridget Barkan at 9 PM. (Bridget just returned from touring with the Scissor Scistors, get there early!)
and Brian Jarvis at 10pm.
The Kin will play an extended set at 11pm.
It’s a small room so online pre sale tickets are strongly advised.
