KROQ Gift Lounge Sign– the only way to fly.

For what seemed like a smallish venue they had an incredible array of brands handing out swag to celebrities & musicians. This is the last batch of photos of brands participating in this gifting suite as well as musicians who were there. However the photos are not completely inclusive so be aware that they missed a few musicians in the midst of things but it’s no big deal .

Align Hair Styling

These two were cutting and styling people’s hair while they were there. Once it got crowded, they were swamped!!!

Paul Frank and Farmer John Signage in the Gifting Lounge.

I so wanted that monkey– but I was a good kid and didn’t take it. Others told me they wanted one too.

Forever21

Fast fashion heaven on earth in this lounge with a table full of jewelry and scarves plus a rack of clothing for guys and girls. One of the Forever 21 people I spoke to was impressed that I was already wearing jewelry from Forever 21! ( a necklace and a bracelet). She told me about the product they were displaying. I got a bracelet, a top and a scarf!! The ladies attending the suite were all lining up and even guys were snagging plaid shirts!

A guest!

Pony Shoes and Keep Shoes

Pony brand shoes were hot on everyone’s list and Keep — a new vegan line of footwear– was handing out shoes and taking orders.

I saw guys walking off with 2 pairs of shoes at a pop! Cool styles from both lines!! You should be checking them out. (see the links above)

Rhythm Swimwear

Rhythm swimwear for men rocked with most of the guys. This Aussie brand now has a serious foothold here in So. Cal. and the styling works for shorter and slightly more body conscious (read not so baggy) trunks with great colors, prints, and fabulous fit and fabrics. You should be buying these for the guy in your life (even if it’s Dad!)

Doctrine

Before I walked out the door, I had to check out the jeans. Doctrine Jeans shown at the KROQ Weenie Roast were for guys. The brand started off for men and the women’s line is debuting this year. (*yay!)

I had a chance to speak to the national sales manager about what makes these jeans special. I got the scoop from him and these are made in LA jeans– with attention to detail, style and fit. This is an uber-cool brand. PERFECT gift material for Dad, grad and if they had a small enough size I would have snagged a pair there. They were showing 3 main styles but they had more!

Thanks to KROQ , EMC Bowery PR’s Jackie, Gisela and Hannah for making this such an awesome event. Having never been before this was definitely a great way to kick off the summer and the music was amazing; the gifting lounge was terrific; and everyone was really friendly. I even caught a shuttle back down to the gates so I didn’t have to walk for eons to get to my car.
If I can get the photo of me with Farmer John’s FRANK, I will post it.
