Scouting New Territory: Old Barns, Waterfalls and More!

One of the best things about this area is that you sometimes need to turn down lanes or hike into areas where you don’t really know what you will find — to find something inspiring and amazing. I had a great time exploring (the other fashion exploring is for another post!)

Barn in a backyard!!

A stampede of rabbits. This is but ONE of many that did a tear through D’s yard.
Life at the lake is not the same without the ducks:

Ducks!!

More ducks!!

And the ducks decide to take a hike!!

The waterfall stream: perfect for tubing

Also here’s a rooster. Not just any rooster mind you, but the RED ROOSTER, the metal namesake for a bar/club of the same name on a little back road.
Fun times, good drinks, GREAT wings!!

As you can see there’s a lot to go explore– or not– depending on your mood and desire to hang out on that spot between heaven and earth we call “the lake”.

Stay tuned for weather shots– like hail and lightning!!
