It’s a holiday weekend and it’s time to celebrate. Here are some truly unusual — yet tasty- cocktails for the weekend that you might want to test drive. Lucid Absinthe Superior
This unusual spirit has a unique taste but it’s well worth buying and using it to create some yummy cocktails that will blow your friends away when they hear the ingredients.
This luscious and refreshing drink is simple to make and goes down easy making it a perfect weekend drink.
ORANGE POPPY
1 oz. Lucid® Absinthe
½ oz. triple sec
2 oz. lemon-lime soda
2 fresh orange slices (thick cut)
1 mint sprig
In a cocktail shaker, add ice, Lucid® Absinthe, triple sec, and a squeeze of orange.
Shake vigorously till ice cold.
Pour into a tall glass and top with a float of lemon-lime soda.
Garnish with mint sprig and orange slice.

Brazilian Sangria

Ingredients:
Fresh seasonal fruit (suggested fruits include strawberry, lime, orange, kiwi and passionfruit.)
¼ oz. Lucid Absinthe
1 ¼ oz. Cachaca
½ oz. Spanish Brandy— there is a difference!
½ oz. Orange Liquor
1 oz. Red Wine
In a cocktail shaker, thoroughly muddle the fruit with Lucid, cachaca, brandy, and orange liquor.
Pour into wine glass.
Float red wine on top of cocktail.
Stir and enjoy.
