Love poker? Then you need to get tickets to the Swagger Poker Showdown on Friday 9/16 to be held within a section of the Petersen Automotive Museum. Presented by Swagger, Los Angeles’ premiere event website, proceeds from the evening will benefit New Directions, a local charity providing comprehensive services to Los Angeles’ veteran heroes.
Swagger co-founders and Air Force veterans, Matt Richter-Sand and Bobby Lady realize that many of their fellow veterans returning home from service overseas have difficulties adapting to civilian life.

“Adjusting to civilian life is hard for so many veterans, especially those who have deployed to the war-zone. We’re trying to help LA’s 8,000+ homeless (11% of homeless veterans nation-wide) get their lives back.”

The Swagger Poker Showdown, a No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em Charity Poker Tournament will begin at 7:00 pm with professional instructors offering crash courses in Poker; professional Vegas dealers and tables, premium open bar, celebrity players and more.
