You probably looked at this headline and wondered “who is Harvey Lowry?” — at least I did when a friend (film producer Susie Olson) asked me if I wanted to come visit the set of a movie she was producing and see what it was like on set and meet some of the “behind the scenes” people. I never say no to experiences/opportunities to take a peek into the magical world of making those things we love to watch– whether it’s TV or movies.
I went to IMDB and checked out Harvey Lowry’s background and was shocked at how many movies, TV shows and commercials he had done– and more importantly to me, the range of genres he had worked with including comedy, drama, horror and mysteries. What was even more surprising was how many of these movies and shows I had actually seen at least once or was a fan of the TV shows. With that homework done, I was really looking forward to meeting Harvey Lowry!
