Musician Jay Nash Sets Up Next Touring Blitz through Europe, Calif & Vermont
Jay Nash is no stranger to this blog. If you go back to the main page you can find a lot of posts, podcasts and updates on him– and his various CDs. The most recent one Diamonds and Blood is one of his best. However he’s spent most of the Vermont winter recording new material and here’s an update he recently sent out about his touring schedule!

The power is out. 1600 or so without power in the Upper Valley of Vermont. So I’ve made a rare trip into town to post up at the local coffee shop and write this note to you. It’s actually kind of nice to get out of the house. That’s the only thing about making records at home…you never leave…
I’ve got some new music coming your way in May. On May 8th, my new EP, ‘Of The Woods’ will be available on iTunes. This is the first four songs from the big batch of tunes that I wrote this past winter. I recorded and played everything myself, finished up last week and sent the tunes off to producer/mad scientist, Bill Lefler to mix and sprinkle with cosmic magic.
It’s been a busy week in the woods for me. As it turns out, I am a record producer. I’ve been pulling 16 hour days in my studio up in the attic for the last two weeks working on the debut EP for a new band out of Montreal called, ‘Sweet Talking Liars’. Yes, that’s correct. ‘Sweet Talking Liars’. They reached out to me about producing them last fall and after hearing their songs (and their name) I enthusiastically jumped on board. I couldn’t be more excited and proud of result of our collective efforts. Stay tuned.
So now that I have finished up the winter recording projects, it’s time to tour!! Garrison Starr and I head to Amsterdam tomorrow to kick off our three week tour in Holland, Germany and England. Get you tickets and help us spread the word! Also – in Germany we’ll be joining up with Madi Diaz and Andrew Belle for what promises to be the perfect singer-songwriter circus as the ‘Feels Like Home’ tour.
