Maybe you know Tabby Biddle and “The Goddess Diaries” or maybe you don’t.
In either case, this is news or a ‘refresher course’ on who Tabby Biddle is– because I am SURE you have seen her articles in various publications and online from Huffington Post to Gaiam to NPR and Current TV as well as her own blog.
As a writer and speaker dedicated to raising awareness of the Feminine and raising the profile of issues affecting women and girls, her voice has been featured by The Huffington Post, the Los Angeles Times, USA Today, UN Dispatch, NPR, among other national and international media. She has spoken at numerous events dedicated to empowering the voices of women and girls, including The Feminine Light in the Middle East Conference, Global Girl Media Academy, and WriteGirl Journalism Conference. In 2011, Tabby was the recipient of a Press Fellowship from the United Nations Foundation to expand the dialogue around global health issues affecting women and girls.Through her work, Tabby is committed to giving women and girls a greater voice in the world.
Here’s a podcast/conversation between Tabby Biddle and myself about her latest workshop.
Tabby’s current workshop is initiated through an in-person event in Los Angeles, From Playing Small to Owning Your World Stage: The 7 Secrets to Creating Your Signature Talk, but the essential workshop on ” Create Your Signature Talk 5-Week VIP Series” begins on May 21, 2012 and will be via skype or telephone so that anyone can participate.
Thank you to Tabby Biddle for taking the time to discuss this topic. As you can see it reached into areas that I had not anticipated but found that it would reach many women out there who are finding that they must bury their feminine side to make it in the world– but it’s something that can be changed– one small movement, comment, idea at time.
