Courtesy of one of my very gifted friends, I was able to join her along with a couple other people to attend the Ricki Lake show.
My friend Jennifer was asked to be part of the audience because she has a “gift” and she wanted to ask a question of John Edwards and Char Margolis. This wasn’t just like any guest, Jenn was given a GREEN room to have and so a few of us got to hang out.
This green room was a bit different. We didn’t bother with TV but we could have had a shower if we wanted. They also provided us with snacks:
which both Kate and I hit the Cheetos really hard. (A partner in Cheetos– do you realize how hard that is to find? Not so easy!)

We had the best time. It was so much fun. The taping was awesome but it was twice as long because they wanted to see if they could make 2 shows out of it. The place was deserted by the time we got out of there and got the gift copies of the books of the 3 psychic guests. We walked to a restaurant for some snacks and something to drink. Thankfully it was warm upstairs on the roof at Rush Street and it was an awesome night. By the time I got home I was exhausted–but it was an event I would not have missed for anything!!
