Celebrity Style Slam #5: Heidi Klum Returns to Victoria Secret Roots for Emmys 2012 Red Carpet

The Emmys 2012 are now over and the critiquing of the fashions seems to be over — but not really. People are still looking at those celebrities and thinking can I wear that dress. This is a series of reviews of women ( who walked the red carpet that caught our eye here at LA-Story.com in either a positive or negative way.

Fashion Designer Karen Starr Delloiacono and I selected Hayden Panettiere for Celebrity Style Slam #3!

Heidi Klum caught our attention because she was wearing a Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2012 Couture gown in sky blue that often had a green tint when on the red carpet. The critics agree to disagree on the shade but the one thing that was stunning about the dress was not just how high they were (bordering on exposure) but also not that there was one- but TWO! The dress tends to remind me entirely of something found in the expensive holiday lingerie section of Victoria’s Secret catalog. Take a listen to the podcast discussion with Karen Starr DelloIancono.

Here’s the final rating on this “dress” (that masquerades as a nightgown or is it the reverse?) Heidi Klum you have an array of Project Runway designers to choose from- why this dress? You could have had anyone design you a one of a kind dress that would have shown off your “assets” better and still give you some coverage.

Rating:

Karen Starr DelloIacono: 1 star

Stevie Wilson: 1 star

Final Rating: 1 star

This is the LAST of the Celebrity Style Slam for Emmys 2012. We will be reverting to the original 2 people CSS comparisons so that you can get more from the comparisons of someone wearing it right and someone not doing it quite so well.

Thanks to Karen Starr DelloIacono who was of tremendous help on this!!
