With Christmas just around the corner many of us are wondering what to put in our special someone’s Christmas stocking. Not only are many of us trying to figure out what to put in their stockings but we are also trying to figure out how to afford these items after going, maybe a bit overboard on holiday gifts and extravagances. Well instead of picking up the typical travel shampoos, toothbrushes, and razors you could try something new. Here are some ideas to help you make stockings memorable this year for men or women.
Gadgets
Both men and women love gadgets. Here a few gadgets that you can snag without breaking your wallet or cleaning out your bank account.
- USB Car Chargers – You can find these great stocking stuffers at any pharmacy or department store. USB car chargers come in useful for cell phones, IPods, and MP3 players that use USB cords to recharge their batteries. If you’ve ever been caught out without a needed charger then you know just how important the little things are!
- 4 in 1 Tool – The 4 in 1 tool is a nifty little gadget that you can find at any store that sells tools or outdoor supplies. Guys will love getting this useful item in their stocking.
- Ear Buds – Ear buds are an excellent idea as a stocking stuffer for your man if he enjoys listening to music or books on his MP3 or iPod player. Because ear buds come in a variety of styles putting more than one pair in his stocking isn’t a bad idea.
Gift Cards
Gifts cards are another great idea as a stocking stuffer. There are a variety of gift cards that you can purchase for less than $20. Some gift cards that you may be interested in purchasing are prepaid credit cards, department store gift cards, or online store gift cards. If you’ve purchased your significant other one of the new Kindle Fire HDs then an Amazon gift card is ideal!
Candy and Treats
Another great idea for a stocking stuffer is your significant others favorite candy or treat. This may sound like something you’d do for a child’s stocking however there is a slight difference. For a child you would put a variety of candies in their stocking. But for your special guy or gal all you need is their favorite. I always get a bag of delicious Dove dark chocolates in my stocking and it’s the highlight of the day for me!
Filling a stocking for a man or a woman isn’t really that hard once you think about it. You can still throw in the little shampoos, razors, combs, or hair ties as fillers. Just don’t forget the cool stuff like gift cards, sweet treats, and gadgets. Be creative and don’t be afraid to pick up something that you wouldn’t normally put in a stocking.

you might want to think of micro-sd cards, larger memory cards, memory card readers, and interesting (fun and silly) USB drives with LOTS of memory to them. Those are often things that people forget .
