It’s the LAST shopping day of the year– Christmas is almost here. While there will be places like drugstores that will be open (and you can find an array of gift cards and gifts within drugstores), I am talking about things that those stores generally won’t have for someone important on your list. However that said, DO walk around these stores that are open (even a Starbucks or a restaurant can sell you gift cards for meals or drinks. Starbucks has their own coffee maker– along with their limited edition Christmas blend coffee!)
Here are some things that I think a fabulous, amazing gifts (and maybe they have been mentioned before but there’s a reason why they are here. )

Macarons are delicate French pastry cookies that are created by the chef of Catherine de Medici in 1533. The first Macarons were simple cookies, made of almond powder, sugar and egg whites. It wasn’t’ until the 20th century when French pastry chefs decided to join two macaron shells together and fill them up with buttercream, jams and ganache.
These delectable creations come in a variety of flavors– of which I got a box to try. If you want to have them for a long time, stick them in the freezer and HIDE THEM! They will defrost just fine. They are crispy delicate cookies with an array of delicate, delish flavors and the fillings are to die for!
Choose your collection and make sure that the person knows that something special in the food is coming and to treat it carefully. YUMMY!!

For the girl with a love of manicures and/or pedicures: Gift her with a luxe version and don’t forget to include a couple of bottles of polish. A place to try would be Bellacures which is hands down the BEST place I have EVER had a pedicure — and it lasted 8 weeks even with the extra design painted on my toes. *(NO LIE)Brand suggestion: ZOYA— so you can buy the entire collection in a cream or dazzling collection of sparkling colors. IT was the color I brought with me to the Bellacures pedicure and I was so glad I did. It’s beautiful and the color lasted amazingly well.
For the guy who could use some great grooming stuff, check out the line from the Blind Barber.
