What’s hot during Red Carpet Season? The chance to catch up to some of my favorite people especially Armani Beauty’s Tim Quinn. He’s not new on the blog but he’s talking about Golden Globes beauty and on that 1/12, Saturday, he had just done Erica Christensen’s makeup for the People’s Choice!

Spring always means color and when it comes to make-up, I always try to add a touch of color for a dramatic effect. However, I have never tried turquoise eyeshadow as I might not apply it correctly and I would end up looking like a clown.
I will get a post up with a tip on how to apply these colors-however no matter what the color: emerald, turquoise, coral and bright blues, the trick is to go with a sheer was on the outer part of the eye lid, use it as a liner (pencil or wet pan shadow) and apply it at the lash line and then go over it again with a thin line of dry shadow (over pencil or wet shado) and then smudge it a bit. Think smoky eye but only with a brighter color.
