Grey Goose + Soho House Host Fab Party for Toronto International Film Festival with Crafted Cocktails!!

Grey GOOSE vodka hosted an exclusive party at Soho House Toronto to celebrate the first night of the Toronto International Film Festival which runs for 10 days from 5-15 September.

GREY GOOSE will be hosting a series of special parties over the opening weekend of the Festival and last night’s was hosted in partnership with Hollywood producer Michael Sugar whose latest film ‘The Fifth Estate’ received its premiere at the Festival the same evening.

Guests at the exclusive party held on the House’s Club Floor included cast members Benedict Cumberbatch, Alicia Vikander, Daniel Brühl, Carice van Houten and Dan Stevens. Additional notables who stopped by the House throughout the evening included Colin Hanks, Paul Giamatti, Michael Fassbender, Tom Welling and director Steve McQueen.

Guests enjoyed a new collection of GREY GOOSE cocktails created especially for the occasion by Global Ambassador Joe McCanta. These cocktails will be served at GREY GOOSE events throughout the Festival.

GREY GOOSE LE FIZZ
A sparklingly elegant cocktail, the GREY GOOSE Le Fizz is the perfect cocktail for raising a toast to the world’s best in film.

Ingredients
1½ parts GREY GOOSE vodka

1 part ST-GERMAIN® Elderflower liqueur

¾ part freshly squeezed lime juice

Topped with 2 parts cold soda water

Method
Pour all ingredients except water into a cocktail shaker.
Shake briefly over ice and double strain into a chilled flute.
Top with soda water. Garnish with a stirrer.

TORONTINI
A sophisticated cocktail with GREY GOOSE vodka at its heart complemented by rich, honeyed fruit and notes of liquorice.

Ingredients
2 parts GREY GOOSE vodka

2 parts fresh apricot juice

1 part freshly squeezed lemon juice

2/3 maple syrup

1/3 apricot brandy
Dash of absinthe (Try LUCID Absinthe!)

Method
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake and
double strain into a martini glass. Garnish with orange
zest.

CANADIAN CRUSH
GREY GOOSE Cherry Noir, made with rare, black cherries from the French Basque region layered with warming notes of spice, mingles here with aromatic blackberry. Served long, it’s a refreshing cocktail to be enjoyed daytime or nighttime.

Ingredients
2 parts GREY GOOSE Cherry Noir

1 part blackberry purée

1 part freshly squeezed lemon juice

2/3 part sugar syrup

Splash of soda water

Method
Build over crushed ice in a highball glass. Top with soda water
and garnish with three sage leaves.

This is the fifth year that GREY GOOSE vodka and Soho House have co-hosted events and parties during the Toronto International Film Festival. Soho House is a private members club for those in creative industries and the Toronto club is celebrating its first birthday this month.

  2. I am sure it was quite tasty.. and I think they all look/sound interesting. I wouldn’t know how they tasted as I wasn’t invited to the Toronto FF.. and they would have had to fly me out there..
    unfortunately they don’t realize that they don’t realize how much attention these cocktail posts get
