The fun times in Los Angeles AKA Hollywood during the ‘red carpet’ events are often things that bloggers don’t get invited too unless they are celebrities as bloggers. That leaves me out of cocktail parties, dinner parties and other events. However for various suites during that week or so prior to the big red carpet events like Oscars, Golden Globes and the Emmys (and more), that’s where some of us get invited.
This is the first time I have been invited to Kathy Duliakas’s Oscar suite, a huge assortment of vendors and celebrities that are put in a huge ballroom and sprinkled in with a pinch of media for spice and flavor. The cool thing about this particular suite is that it was housed in the Taglyan Complex, a great ‘destination’ for weddings, personal or business events with a ton of parking and a dynamite location that gives you a feeling of a resort while giving you all the access to being in the heart of LA and near Hollywood! Impressive – yes! Disappointing ? Never! This is a place I would like to return to. It’s been a long time since I have been to a major event that the entire location was as luxe as the main rooms being used! Not only was the location amazing, but the food was scrumptious and worth keeping note of if I ever get asked where to get married in LA!
Kathy Duliakas’ 6th Annual Celebrity Oscar Suite & Party to honor the film industry’s Oscar Nominated actors, former Oscar winners, presenters, and wardrobe! This was an amazing invite-only event produced by Kathy Duliakas and co-hosted by Maleku Jewelry® and presented by ZENSATION® offered an incredible array of stunning jewelry, fashion, handbags, rejuvenation technology along with some fabulous products in skin, body & hair care, LED lit eyewear, delectable sweets, exotic cocktails and more!
What’s really cool about this suite is that Kathy Duliakas tries to focus on new and unusual brands to feature at her suite. While some brands might not be new, they are updating the taste-maker celebrities on what’s newly launched with their companies. Very fun, very smart and definitely a way to trendspot for this hot new products to hit the market.
Taglyan’s own divine Food & Catering treated guests to a gourmet feast complete with Mediterranean influences. A few of the mouth-watering dishes the stars dined on were: divine avocado salad; classic Greek salad; quinoa salad; chicken breast stuffed with wild rice and feta cheese; grilled prime beef carpaccio; grilled chicken breast with apricot ginger glaze, tuna tartare topped with Brazilian mango; crab cakes drizzled with wasabi cilantro aioli;basmati rice topped with roasted cranberries, pine nuts and almonds and more! (Lots more including desserts and beverages!)
