For Parties, Small Gatherings or Just Personal Munching, Try Twistos Crispy Bites from Frito-Lay!

This is a #sponsored post because I was sent this to review and provided a video with my questions about the product. I was not paid for this review. In fact I had seen this product in the store before I even heard about this promotion and bought just one bag to test out with my friends. While the brand provided some treats, I have no problem telling you what I think about this product- it’s definitely worth buying!

(worth the time to make these!)

Bruschetta Breaded Chicken Fingers

Recipe:
Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1 egg, beaten
1 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup crushed TWISTOS Bruschetta Flavored Baked Snack Bites
Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper
½ cup vegetable oil for frying

Directions
Carefully cut each of the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, about 1-2 inches each.

Place the chicken strips into a large resealable plastic bag.

In a small bowl, mix together the egg, buttermilk and garlic powder. Pour the liquid into the bag with chicken. Seal, and refrigerate for 2 hours.

In another large resealable plastic bag, mix together the flour, crushed TWISTOS Bruschetta Flavored Baked Snack Bites, salt and pepper. Remove the chicken from the refrigerator, and drain off the liquid. Place the chicken into flour mixture bag. Seal and shake to coat.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large, heavy bottom skillet over medium heat.

Carefully place coated chicken in the hot oil. Fry until golden brown on both sides and fully cooked. Remove cooked chicken with a pair of tongs and drain on paper towels. Serve alongside your dipping sauce of choice.

REVIEW:
Personally I love the Twistos concept and I like the flavors. I just wish they would back off the salt on these crispy savory treats. They are too addictive as they are and this much salt isn’t good for you. I DO like the Bruschetta flavor best and I think paired with a chunky salsa and mixed into a salad, this would be astonishingly great! It’s a great way to mix up some goat cheese, hummus for your kids (young or old) and get them to eat veggies + these crispy looking miniature bread slices!
