On Friday, August 8, LA’s premier shopping, dining, and entertainment destination FIGat7th presents the third of six FREE outdoor concerts at the FIGat7th Downtown Festival.
This week the festival will feature performances by Gardens & Villa and Chicano Batman and will be hosted by KCRW’s DJ Mario Cotto. (seriously fun times)
The series happens every Friday night from now until August 22.
The remaining schedule has been included below.
Guests can drink during the festivities at City Tavern’s Festival Bar on the top level near the stage and eat at TASTE (a dining collection on the plaza level).

Parking is $5 on Friday nights after 4pm with validation from one of the retail or restaurant merchants (no min $ purchase)!

FameFest BikeFest & Scavenger Hunt…a street-long treasure hunt and art show that people can bike to.
Famefest will provide clues directing guests into participating retailers to get their passport stamped and then award prizes, including a brand new bike and $500 worth of gift certificates from Melrose businesses, to winning passport holders!
Fun for friends and families! Participants pick up their Scavenger Hunt Passport at in the Fame Fest Art Yard (located at 7761 Melrose Ave).
Enjoy live music from Bearwulf, DJ Mixter Ed and Chris & Maggie at the FAME Yard, along with live mural painting by Brandon Sopinsky, Eye One and Jennifer Korsen and goods from local craftsmen.
Get special discounts and freebies at participating retailers on Melrose and at the Melrose Trading Post for scavenger hunt participants.

I love summer outdoor events. The $5 parking in LA makes it worth going just for that, but this sounds like a blast.
