Celebrate the Holiday with Cocktails that Are Healthy! Paleta Potables to the Rescue!

For this holiday weekend, we have several cocktails to present that use the Paleta Potables— juice-based cocktail mixers!

Paleta is not a new brand to this site. I have been talking about Paleta and it’s great products (packaged & delivered meals and cold-pressed juices) for a few years. What I love about Paleta are the rich flavors and fabulous textures of the juices and foods that the brand presents.

But wait– there’s more! Given that this is a 2 day holiday weekend, people have been planning parties and events for weeks. That typically means that the holiday brings with it additional calories and excess sugar, fats and alcohol that is imbibed in the course of the holiday. Instead of dealing with hangovers– and the increased caloric intake, check out Paleta Potables are a smarter choice for you!
Here’s what Chef Kelly Boyer says on the Paleta.com website:

THE MORNING AFTER.
Did you know those sugary mixers from days gone by actually contribute to that rocking headache the next morning? Replace those old school sugary and syrupy drink mixers with our 100% organic, cold-pressed potions. You’ll be sure to fit into that little black dress or fashionable narrow cut suit all year round! PALETA POTABLES also perform double duty. You’ll pleasure your palate by pouring any of our easy recipes for a variety of creative cocktails by just adding the liquor. Then, quench your thirst by enjoying our elixirs sans alcohol for a refreshing start the next morning. They’ll leave you feeling hydrated, refreshed and because they are chock full of nutrients you will actually feel better! We’ll leave the hair of the dog option up to you.

Looking for a water that will help rebalance your system alongside the Paleta Potables the morning after? Check out this really great artesian alkaline water that’s sourced out of a New Zealand aquifer:1907Water

1907Water: New Zealand’s Artesian + Alkaline Water!
This is a newer brand out of New Zealand. It’s a unique because it is sourced 680 feet deep at the foot of New Zealand’s Kaimanawa Ranges, resulting in pure, uncontaminated water — with the perfect balance of alkalinity. It’s smooth, flavorful and with a lower mineral content that one expects from a naturally sourced water!

This water is smooth as silk and goes down oh so easily. I had a chance to test drive this water and the box of 12 bottles vanished quickly! I had to stash a couple in my drawer because everyone loved this water. I even went to Whole Foods and bought another case and that vanished just as quickly. Everyone commented on how much better they felt after a bottle or 2 of this water. Not surprised, I felt better too and I didn’t get that 3 PM slump either!

Available in 3 sizes
MSRP 2 Liter $3.99,
1 liter $2.19,
500ml: $1.29

See the website for various stores nationwide that carry this water. It’s worth the purchase.

I was given water from 1907Water to try. It’s everything they say it is and more. I found that suddenly other water (tap or bottled) didn’t taste the same. This is easily accessible and will reward you with a better balance of hydration.
