This is a review I am doing on a new-ish skincare line from Zenith Skincare. It’s cosmeceutical type of line with some interesting ingredients.

Disclosure: I was provided a sample of the product for my honest and unbiased review! The sample enables me to try the product and write a review but doesn’t influence my opinion of it.

The product I am reviewing is Eye Diamond Anti-Aging Eye Serum

Review:
I checked out every ingredient on the above list. I have italicized those active ingredients that actually are doing something in terms of “improving” the texture and function of the skin around the eyes. The ingredients are solid and right in tune with current therapies out there in the marketplace. The other therapies are often 3-5 times more expensive than the Eye Diamond Serum! Thus this product is affordable

I would suggest that you try a small pearl-sized drop and use it on your lower lid and also around the outside edge of the eye and maybe on the brow bone. Pat it in gently with your ring finger. You need to help this product absorb. I would do the small pearl-sized drop of this light almost gel-like serum for about 4-5 days so that you can see if your skin reacts positively to the ingredients. Some might find instant results and others will have to wait 4-6 weeks to see some small changes that will be more noticeable at the end of 6 weeks.

Unfortunately for me, I developed an allergy to the product and had to see my dermatologist who said that I had to stop using it. (My eyes were getting super -puffy and red around the edges. The more I used, the worse it got, and the longer I used it the redness and itch factor became untenable. I only had used it for about 2 weeks max. If you are worried that you might be sensitive, try it with that small pearl sized drop method that I suggested above. If you don’t react right away, you should be good to use it for the longer term.

This is not the first time I have been allergic to a product. Sometimes it’s the time of year and in Los Angeles, we have had crazy weather that has been very hot and dry and occasionally windy since the first of the year. Not only is it pollinating season but add in the hot weather and one can understand why I reacted to this product.

I would recommend this for just about anyone. If you have allergies to various skin products, try this one with caution until you have tried it slowly enough to be assured your skin wouldn’t react.
