If you love fishing and watch various fishing reality TV shows, then Peter Miller is a known quantity as an expert fisherman who shows off Florida fishing excursions and lots more than that. Miller and his team take various groups of people and show them how to catch various types of fish. (C’mon! Can’t you tell I don’t fish?!!) My friends who fish, they love this guy. Miller + his team are a bunch of “manly men” who have a great time on and off the water. They are pretty expert in their knowledge!

When I heard that Peter Miller is now a spokesperson for Monster Audio products, I had to jump on it. I asked Peter Miller if he would like to contribute a guest post about what makes Monster Audio products –like the super-hot  SuperStar BackFloat, a Bluetooth-friendly waterproof, floating speaker! Turns out that this device along with a slew of other audio products are perfect gifts for  Valentine’s Day  Father’s Day, birthdays, anniversaries and really any excuse you need to give a fisherman or anyone who has a pool or a spa. I can’t imagine anyone turning down any of the Monster Audio products!

Welcome fisherman extraordinaire, Peter Miller as today’s guest blogger!

Monster’s SuperStar Backfloat Speakers Keeps Me Afloat Whether On Shore or Off Shore For All-Weather Outdoor Use

By Peter Miller, Bass2Billfish.com

The reason I love my job is that you never know what you’re gonna get, and that’s what keeps me coming back every time. My reality show, Bass2Billfish with Peter Miller, follows me as I travel throughout Florida in search of adventure and the biggest fish I can find. But one thing I do know, is that I need great equipment on the water for my other passion, music.

There are so many Bluetooth speakers on the market these days that choosing the best one for my lifestyle can be a tough decision. Sound quality, waterproof, portability, price – they all matter. However, one stands out from the crowd. Monster’s SuperStar Backfloat features two distinct selling points that moves it to the front of the line:
it is water-resistant
it floats on water.

Recently, I’ve been putting the splash-proof SuperStar™BackFloat™ through the paces. This speaker has a durable silicone shock-proof shell designed for all-weather outdoor use – ideal for all things I enjoy doing including fishing,  paddle boarding, boating, camping, the beach, and other aquatic sports. SuperStar™BackFloat™ will bring the tunes with great bass, whatever the weather.

The SuperStar BackFloat sits on the surface of the water and can handle the waves. It also delivers some fairly powerful sound for its relatively modest overall size. These speakers are really water-friendly. Measuring 3.3 by 7.3 by 1.6 inches (HWD) and weighing in at half a pound, the BackFloat is great to just throw in your backpack and go.

Its black rubber, ruggedized shape has metallic accents (available in Neon Blue, Neon Green and Gold), with controls for Power, Volume (which works independently of, not together with, your device’s volume), and Bluetooth pairing across its top panel, as well as a microphone for taking calls. A great thing about The BackFloat is that it automatically powers off after 60 minutes of not being used and it has superb battery life at roughly 7 hours on a full charge.

A side port houses the micro USB charging connection (a cable is included), as well as a 3.5mm Aux output that can be used for headphones or to send audio to another speaker. A very nice protective pouch is included—it has perforations for the sound to escape without things sounding muffled, and it’s very well padded. The SuperStar BackFloat is also fantastic for use in the shower, swimming pools, or you can float this powerful speaker in the Jacuzzi.
