Adding RW Garcia (Crackers) to Your Easter Dinner!

Looking for some great appetizers or snacks for Easter or anytime? I have some great ones– and I came up with the presentation in concert with RW Garcia foods. You remember this post I did featuring RW Garcia tortilla chips: March Madness Along with the great chips, I got a couple of boxes of new flavor crackers: Beet and Sweet Potato and they are dark red and also a pale sweet potato/orange color.

DISCLOSURE: RW GARCIA brands provided me a single box each of the crackers you see in return for me posting about what I did with them (besides eat them).

 

These crackers are super crisp and flavorful. I loved them; my husband loved them more. Everything you see (and then some) in these photos, he ate all of it (as in all the crackers  you see on the two plates and more plain crackers with all the condiment/dips too and the chopped vegetable toppings. I don’t usually see him eat that many vegetables in one sitting.

My husband not only loved what I gave him to eat post-photo shoot, but he also really liked my shots as a semi-styled, more relaxed and ‘true life’ visual presentation. (He’s a master photographer and photography professor who is known for his dynamic work in photoshop and also visual arts including HDR photography) .
The great part about these photos- NO FILTERS, No light adjustments, no color adjustments. Everything you are seeing is exactly as I shot it with natural and kitchen lighting.  Want to see a closer shot? Scroll down to the second photo below!

 

The point I am making is these crackers are really this color and it makes a great presentation for Easter since everything is so colorful. You can’t get colors like these in regular crackers. As far as I know, RW Garcia is one of the few brands to be able to provide you with healthy veggie-oriented natural (non-GMO, gluten-free crackers made with vegetables.) That’s why I personally use RW Garcia products.

Getting appetizers ready for Easter can be a lot of prep but you can minimize if you head to the market today. The avocados here in California are extremely expensive at 2 for $3 each (that’s supposed to be a sale!) Instead, I opted for the ease and convenience of using a premium pre-made guacamole from my Ralphs along with a pre-made refrigerated pico de gallo and a spinach and parmesan dip made with Greek yogurt. I used all of these dips and condiments for toppings on the crackers. I also used some green onions and super-finely chopped those up along with orange and yellow bell peppers.

I spread out crackers and topped them with just one condiments per cracker: guacamole, pico de gallo or the spinach parmesan dip. Then each cracker was topped with either the chopped green onion, or some of the colorful peppers.

Thanks to RW Garcia for these great crackers. I  highly  recommmend them- and that’s not because I was given 2 boxes of crackers and some chips (see the March Madness post link in an earlier paragraph). I am picky about what I eat.. and what I bring into my house. I like good food. I like it even more if it’s non-GMO , gluten-free and made of healthy vegetables and most importantly, it tastes good. RW Garcia meets my criteria.
