Las Vegas Revs Its’ Motor! Michelle Rodriguez (Fast & the Furious) Spotted at La Comida LV!

Star of The Fast and the Furious franchise and screenwriter, Michelle Rodriguez, dined at Jenna and Michael Morton’s downtown Las Vegas hotspot, La Comida, on Tuesday evening.

Celebrating a friend’s birthday, Rodriguez sipped on Casa Dragones and Clase Azul Reposado tequila from La Comida’s expansive selection.

The actress paired her libations with grilled seabass tacos, topped with house-made slaw, crema de chipotle and pickled radish; cheese enchilada; and guacamole made with pico de gallo, jalapeño and lime juice. (Photo above)

About La Comida:

La Comida is a stylish addition to the burgeoning Downtown Las Vegas dining scene, featuring a menu inspired by the cosmopolitan fare of Mexico City. The latest creation by the Morton Group, led by restaurateurs Jenna and Michael Morton, La Comida blends authenticity and tradition with a delightfully funky vibe. The facade of the restaurant faces Sixth Street with an old-school overhanging ‘La Comida’ sign stretching across the sidewalk beneath a 7-foot sculptured metal monkey clinging to the rooftop corner, whose bones flash in pink neon. The main room is accented with wood floors, reclaimed tiles from Mexico, authentic church pews and stained glass from old church windows.

La Comida is located at 100 Sixth St. and is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday from noon to midnight and Sunday from noon to 11 p.m. For reservations please call, 702.463.9900.
