Yuzu Cream is the perfect treat for summer, with a refreshing citrus taste and floral hints made rich with the addition of sweet cream. It harkens back to a childhood nostalgia of hot summer days, filled with orange and ice cream pops from the back of an ice cream truck. For those unfamiliar with the fruit, Yuzu is a Japanese citrus, best described as what would happen if a grapefruit, lemon,  and an orange had a baby.

“Tart and lightly floral, Yuzu Cream makes a perfect refreshing summer ice cream.” – Jake Godby, Co-Founder and Pastry Chef, Humphry Slocombe.

Since the first flavor collaboration debuted a year ago, Humphry Slocombe successfully applied for a low-interest loan from Whole Foods Market’s Local Producer Loan Program. With that loan, Humphry Slocombe purchased new equipment that has both supported its growth as well as expanded its ability to innovate and create delicious new flavors like this one.

The Local Producer Loan Program provides low-interest loans to local suppliers who need assistance expanding their business. Since 2007, WFM has given more than $22 million in low-interest loans to businesses nationwide.
