Looking for an Interesting Cocktail to Try? Start with Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin + This Recipe!

 I am always scouting out new cocktails mostly because I love scouting out new spirit brands. While I  know about Four Pillars Gin, I have not tried the varieties of gin (Rare Dry, Navy Strength, and Bloody Shiraz)  that this Australian brand has put together.  If you want to learn more about this brand, check out this piece in Forbes Magazine.
Bloody Shiraz:
To produce such a unique expression – Four Pillars Gin steep shiraz grapes in their Rare Dry gin for eight weeks and then press them to release the remaining juice and alcohol that gets soaked up inside each berry and mix that elixir back into the vat. The end result is a unique violaceous blend with notes of fresh pine needles, citrus, spice and dense raspberry leaving a sweet taste on the palate with a subtle spice after each sip.

Ingredients

Bloody-Shiraz_preview

.75oz Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin

.75oz Campari

.75oz Dry Curacao

.75oz fresh lemon juice

1 dash of Regan’s Orange Bitters

Lemon twist for garnish


Method

Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake and strain into a chilled coupette glass.
Garnish with a lemon twist
