I am a huge fitness junkie. I have done numerous types of workouts for years.. always hunting for the “right fit” for my body, my fitness goals as well as my personality. I love to mix up my workout. I do a mix of pilates, sculpting with weights, barre and various types of cardio. In the last 6 months, I have added a mini-trampoline to increase and improve my cardio work along with my balance at the same time. This is one awesome tool for a cardio and other elements of your workout.
I had wanted to do mini-trampoline workout for over a year. I did my investigation to find the right trampoline because being safe while jumping is key. Not all trampolines are equal in quality. Anything under $100 is going to move around on the floor when you jump on it.
If a trampoline is moving, it’s a red flag.
Here’s why that’s a problem:
1)The trampoline is probably too small
2) It might not be made from the best quality materials and often takes shortcuts like using springs rather than bungee cords to provide the bounce.
3) It’s likely that it will shift when someone is bouncing. It might not be stationary when you need it most in some of those moves.
Better to take some time to find the right brand and I found a great resource at JumpSport.com. And that’s where I bought my trampoline!
Trampolines are a great way to do many things in a very short period of time!
I found trampoline workouts are a great way for me to kick off my workout each day and get my heart rate up and my body warmed up properly without being boring. I can watch the news when I am doing it or I can follow a DVD workout.
I am always on the hunt for new workouts for my trampoline time and JumpSport has some great workout DVDs for sale on their site.
