Rosa Mexicano Presents a “Night of Spirits” A Special Event to Celebrate Mexico’s Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)

Rosa’s Mexicano serves up an authentic menu to commemorate Mexico’s Dia de Los Muertos at all 11 locations in the US: October 31- November 4.
A special traditional Día de los Muertosmenu, combining ritual holiday foods and innovative drink pairings and desserts, will be available to patrons from Wednesday, October 31st through Sunday, November 4th.
“El Día de los Muertos is an important cultural holiday for the Mexican people,” explains Regional Executive Chef Joe Quintana. “During the holiday, families celebrate the lives of loved ones who have passed through a series of traditional observances — many of which focus on preparing their favorite foods. At Rosa Mexicano, we’re offering a number of classic dishes by founder Josefina Howard to honor her memory.”
Savory and inventive meal combines traditional ritual foods plus our new Calavera Cocktail
This holiday meal will introduce a specialty cocktail, crafted especially for the occasion. The Calavera is composed of Milagro reposado tequila, pineapple juice, Ancho Reyes chile liqueur, lemon juice, black syrup, Angostura bitters, and egg whites. It is garnished with an edible sheet of skull cocktail art.
The emotional highlight of Rosa Mexicano’s Día de los Muertos is when diners take part in the Mexican ritual of La Ofrenda:
Bring photos and portraits of your departed loved ones to place on the Ofrenda (Altar) inside each restaurant, to honor their memories.
