Get Your Coffee HOT and Keep it Hot with HOTSHOT Coffee and the companion “HOTBOX”!
I don’t know about you but there are times when I really want to grab a coffee and either hit my computer and get right to work or hit the road with something caffeinated that I can sip while I am driving. I want something that’s going to stay warm PLUS is easy to carry with me. It’s not the easiest thing to find– UNTIL NOW with HOTSHOT COFFEES!!
I was provided a complete kit (as shown below) with the HotBox and 9 beverages to try. I would not be able to tell you how good the coffee is and how easy it is to have hot coffee in can 24/7 without testing it out myself.
My opinions are my own and they are based on my personal experiences with this product. Samples and “trials” with products such as Hot Shot and Hot Box make it possible for me to honestly tell you what I think of this product!
Hot Shot Coffee is relatively new to the USA. It’s unique presentation of canned coffee heated till 140 degrees 24/7 courtesy of the Hot Box.
Hotshot was born at 5AM on the streets of Tokyo when American entrepreneur Danny Grossfeld was looking for some hot coffee before a meeting. After going store to store with no luck, he decided to settle on what he thought was a cold can of coffee from a refrigerator. To his surprise, not only was it actually a “hot fridge” and the cans were all hot; but that hot canned coffee was a $15 Billion Industry in Japan!
Danny immediately went on a mission to bring this Japanese concept dating back to 1969, to the US. He set out to leverage the true innovation and convenience of the hot RTD concept, and make it acceptable for American tastes. The lengthy process of “Americanizing” the product included:
–raising the temperature from 110° F to 140° F;
–increasing the size of the can,
–creating formulas from scratch,
–developing entirely new heating technology;
–inventing an insulated label to protect your hands.
Origins of HOTSHOT COFFEE!
HOTSHOT is redefining grab and go coffee and ensuring that coffee lovers no longer have to stand in line, or add another K-cup to the mounting piles in landfills, to get a cup of great coffee.
Hot CANNED coffee is not a new concept in Asia — in fact it’s a 15B industry. Entrepreneur Danny Grossfeld adapted the concept and is bringing it to American consumers.
The coffee is extracted from coffee beans, creating the purest and most smooth coffee available. Our patented labels act like beer cosey — keeping the cans at the desired 140 degrees, but your hand is still cool. Initial flavors are black coffee, french vanilla and hot chocolate-with additional flavors expected hopefully at the turn of the year.

What is HotShot?
HotShot is hot coffee and hot chocolate in a single serve can that’s heated and stored hot in our HotBox®. HOT grab-n-go drinks, that are always hot, always ready.
What is a HotBox?
HotBox is our “HOT Fridge” unit that heats and stores 9 cans of HotShot® drinks at the perfect HOT temperature of 140F.
Do the cans really stay hot all the time?
Yes, once you put the cans in our HotBox, they stay there until you’re ready to drink one.
How long does it take to heat cans?
When loading an empty HotBox with 9 cans, it takes approximately 90 minutes to heat cans to optimal temperature (140°F). In order to avoid waiting for cans to heat, keep the HotBox stocked at all times for convenient grab-n-go coffee anytime.
How long does HotShot stay hot outside of the Hotbox?
HotShot cans stay hot for up to 20 minutes outside of the HotBox, but once the can is opened it will begin to cool after 5 minutes. It’s best to consume HotShot right after opening.

Yes, the Hotbox can stay on continuously 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Is the HotBox safety tested & approved?
Yes, the Hotbox is ETL Approved, which is the UL Safety Standards for the U.S.

Yes, the HotBox has a carry handle for easy transport. Just unplug HotBox and take it with you.
How HOT is the can?

How can I hold the can if it’s Hot?
Cans are insulated by a thermal label to protect your hands. The label is specially designed to reduce the surface temperature by 50%.
Will the HOT metal can burn my mouth?
No, the cans are aluminum which releases heat very quickly. When you open the can, the air rushes in and cools the rim for comfortable drinking.
I was offered a kit to test try this HOTSHOT Coffee and the HotBox. Here is what my HotBox looks like.
The hot box is 13 x 12.8 x 12.5 inches and just a hair over 12 pounds. It looks bigger than it really is. The spot I am using is a very small shelf that has an outlet right behind it. The “warming box” takes a while to heat coffees up the first time ( approximately 90 minutes) . You are meant to leave it on 24/7 so that no matter what time of day you suddenly want a coffee, there is always one (or more) waiting for you in the box!
There are 4 flavors available now. I was sent three: Sumatra, Hot Chocolate, and Vanilla Coffee. I love them all. The cans coming out of the box aren’t very hot to the touch but the beverages in each can are hot and they stay that way for a while. I would suggest a hefty mug if you are planning to go back to your desk because the mug will keep the drink warm longer. If you want to drink straight from the can, you will love the feeling of a slightly warm can and the “mouth feel” of the hot coffee!
My HotBox filled with HOT coffee!
Both my husband and I tried each flavor. I love the Vanilla Coffee and the Hot Chocolate. He loves Sumatra! He knows that I might steal a Sumatra to mix up a “mocha” coffee (one of my favorite coffee drinks).
We like this much more than we like our Keurig type single serve coffee brewer. It works faster and the water doesn’t have to be refilled in the maker. The HotShot Coffee “kit” is a no-brainer. It’s super easy to use. You can get the kit for $79! You can set up auto-shipments on Amazon for coffee refills too. SO easy and it’s a heck of a lot easier then Kcups with a lot less waste!
