Tasha Powell is an amazing food stylist who is a trained Le Cordon Bleu chef. Not only that, she’s an entrepreneur and photographer. She took all the photos of these cocktails!
Tasha is a stylist and writer who specializes in working with celebrities, celebrity chefs and leaders in the entertainment, hospitality and travel industries. She covers celebrity events in Los Angeles and in Europe. She also cooks and styles for monographs, cookbooks and Satellite Media Tours, working between North America and France.
Tasha works with chefs and cookbook authors as well as doing promotional work on film sets. She has managed and styled food for numerous television programs, working in fast-paced environments on trailers, teasers, films and webisodes as well as news segments. She is also accustomed to setting up mise-en-place and prop styling for a wide variety of culinary projects. She is a contributing culinary writer for “Perfectly Provence,” a website dedicated to travel and tourism of Provence, France.
Here’s the ‘back-story” of these cocktails!
I conceived these cocktail recipes while living in Aix-en-Provence France this last fall. I love to entertain with colorful parties that reflect the personalities of my many friends from Provence. This Cocktail collection runs the gamut of color and style from lovely Pink Elephant Cocktails to Lime Mint Safari Cocktails to Jungle Bleu Shots. I used Safari White Vodka and Safari Liqueur in theses drinks – one of my favorite brands!
I thought these cocktails would be a great introduction to the 2019 Golden Globes awards show on 1/6/2019
Pink Elephant Cocktail

Prep Time: 5 minutes
• 4 shots of Safari White Vodka *
• 4 squeezes of lime to taste
• Fentimans Rose Lemonade
• 4 slice of lime
1. In a martini glass (or cocktail glass of your choice), add a shot of vodka and the lime juice.
2. Top up with the pink lemonade and serve with a slice of lime and a tuft of pink cotton candy
3. Sip and Celebrate!
*The Safari White Vodka is a brand from the UK.
Lime Mint Safari Cocktail Recipe (serve with Giraffe Stir Sticks)

• 2/3 cup mint leaves
• 1 cup (250ml) lime juice (from about 6 limes)
• 1 cup (250ml) Safari White Vodka
• Soda water, to serve
Place the mint leaves in a decanter with the lime juice and lightly crush the mint using a cocktail muddler.
Fill the decanter with ice and pour over the vodka.
Stir well to combine, then pour into tall glasses.
Top up with soda water, garnish with lime round and mint stalks.
Jungle Bleu Shot

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 6-12, depending if the glasses are 1 or 2 oz.
1/2 cup Bols Blue (Curacao Liqueur)
1/2 cup Safari Liqueur
1/2 cup Vodka
Shake all ingredients and pour into a large shot glass or small cocktail glass.
Option: Garnish with curled orange peel.
