Author It’s Mother’s Day and if you have been reading this blog that’s ALL I have been writing about. Now here’s something that works for moms, dads, grads, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries. Wine is a pretty universal gift but the kind and quality of wine that you gives speaks volumes- unless you know nothing about wine. Given that I won’t assume that any of my readers are oenophilse (wine lovers)– sorry, it’s not a slam, but I focus mostly on champagne and/or cocktails.
I started with wines before I went into spirits and I was in Napa, Sonoma and the Central Coast quite a bit.

It might not be news to most people because lifestyle websites come and go (and I have launched enough of them to know when to dip a toe in the water and when to walk away). Collective310.com has an interesting vibe that’s very Hollywood but still enough So. California to get you from the “Bu” (Malibu) to maybe San Diego and Comic-con and all points in between. Because when it comes to know where to shopping, finding a great restaurant from coffee houses to loumges to food trucks, no one knows it better than a So. Cal girl.

About 2months ago, a friend in No. California asked me during a phone call about Smashburger. I was perplexed– having never heard of it before. While my friend described the place, I was already googling up Smashburger and found 1) that they were an amazing chain of killer burgers with sides to die for as well as burgers that featured a local spin the the location– meaning LA has its’ own burger and the OC or San Francisco has their own as well. #2 I found that the next place to open was in Redondo Beach– a hop, skip and a bit of a jump onto the freeway from me. Wow. KILLER. I got invited to attend the VIP event and actually wanted time to talk to Tom Ryan, founder of the chain so I wound up at the press event (MUCH BETTER IDEA too!) and brought along my good friend and amazing photog/video person, Lisa!
