The product was a dream for me. I had a very bad perm- it was so damaged the ends were breaking off. I went to several salons and they recommend to use conditioner regularly, and wait until it grew out…(my hair is straight with a small wave usually). Well as impatient as I was I went searching at Walgreens, and found EASY STRAIGHT…yes I used it on badly permed hair!…and it worked! It actually made my hair softer then when damaged with perm. I didn’t use a comb during the process…I used my hands(with glove on) to smooth and straighten it on my hair during the timing.(don’t over time!). I don’t know why it wasn’t working for the others posted…maybe they weren’t following directions, or stressing the hair? Maybe they should get the product and take it to a salon where they can apply it for them. I have been recommending this product to everyone, and so far no complaints, only thank yous.

I am a model and have a photoshoot all next week at the beach and thought it would easier for stylist etc. if it was straight. I used the 1 week straightner…my hair is still damp in some places (did air dry) but on top i can already see the horror!! It is brassy looking and extremely frizzy like w/lots of split ends and not a normal shine but ugly damaged hair that has shine spray on it!! This is ridiculous the box says for ALL HAIR TYPES NOT DAMAGING ETC. I didn’t think it was chemical then …i followed the directions perfect. I have decided to blow dry and few pieces they did straighten easier but feel really thin and wierd. I am totally suing this company b/c this is going to effect my career. If my hair looks like crap or I have to cut it short I don’t get jobs no job = no money! I AM SUPER PISSED OFF! I’ve spent years fixing damage on my hair and for 2 years now have had beautiful hair just w/a bit of curl, i should have been so lazy Id rather slave an hour w/the blow dryer than look like Kramer!!

What a big mistake! Not only did it smell worse than any other relaxer I’ve tried but there certainly wasn’t anything EASY about it. There were too many jars of crap, too many unnecessary steps compared to what I’ve seen done at the salon and the other products. The alarms went off in my head but I didn’t listen. I followed the directions perfectly and only did the regrowth (making sure not to touch the ends of my hair). After I was finally finished, I saw no results at all, my hair stunk, and was completely damaged and broken. This stuff is horrible!

I tried the 3 month straightener kit. I am a little torn about my results.
I found my hair really hard to diagnose and probablly should have called the company but eyh not much i can really do about it now.
My hair was highlighted about 6 months ago but since then i have previously dyed over it with a semi. My hair was extremely wavy almost complete curls but not quite there and i had ringlets around my forehead and nape of the neck. My hair is also quite long about mid way down my back it is also very thick and almost wiry. Before i started i had reasonably split ends.
After i used the product and my hair was still wet i was pretty happy. Then it dried…
It was staight…but probably a little too straiht at the back…im talking pin here guys…not natural at all like the box claims. Also those little ringlets and my fringe (which is quite short and really was the targtet area for this process) is still reasonably wavy and looks quite retarded…i still have to straighten it a little. As for those split ends they have extended to about hald way up the shaft of my hair… if i oput my hair up i look as if a persian cat gave birth to a litter of 20 on the back of my head…
I dont believe mine to be a complete horror story as after some leave in treatment and a rewetting my hair sort of calmed down… I also plan to use the biolage conditioner when i am next allowed to wash my hair (2 days–> gross!!!) and leave it in overnight, i fell this will make an improvement but honestly i am beginning to miss my old hair…it wasnt straight but at least it shined and loked natural…
